PREPARING FOR HOMEOWNERSHIP
This class will help the first time homebuyer prepare for homeownership by learning important steps for self-preparation and to apply for a mortgage. Also learn about first time homebuyer tax credits and how to avoid predatory lending. This class qualifies you to receive a HUD Certified Homebuyer Certificate along with attending three other Financial Education Classes and a one-on-one counseling session.

Receive updates on credits and tax changes for 2010. Find out how to maximize your income tax return by making good financial decisions with your refund.
CREDIT BASICS AND RESTORATION
Learn how today’s economy will affect your credit and borrowing power. You will also receive information on repairing, restoring, maintaining and securing your credit.

Learn banking concepts and its benefits. Learn how to create a budget and how to find money in your budget to save.
HOMEOWNER RETENTION
This class will give existing homeowners important information on refinancing, what to do if you can’t pay your mortgage, declining markets and how it affects your property and more.

Learn effective financial investment strategies for retirement. Receive information on medical choices available for seniors and the truth about the different health care plans.

Learn the basics of starting a business, writing a business and marketing plan and how to access financial resources to fund your business.
FINANCIAL EDUCATION SERIES WRAP UP AND GRADUATION
Attend this general session to discuss how being financially educated can empower you. Homebuyer and Financial Education Certificates will be presented. Must have attended at least four of the above classes to receive a certificate.
