Senator Mattie Hunter, Representative Esther Golar, Alderman Pat Dowell and other community officials and residents recently attended a Peace and Prayer Rally in remembrance of 34 year-old Joshua Hudgins killed outside Alice’s Bar-B-Que on 43^rd Street in Chicago’s Bronzeville community on July 13.  Mr. Hudgins, a married father of four, was about to celebrate his 20^th anniversary as a cook.  Mr Hudgins had stepped out for a break when he was gunned down and police say the gunman was aiming at someone else walking nearby.
