The next two months will be a very active time in the General Assembly. One of the largest and most important topics we are discussing this session is the budget.

Today, in the Illinois Senate Appropriations Committee, my colleagues and I heard testimonies from state agency directors expressing the need to reevaluate the state’s budget.
