This month, the Illinois Lottery is launching its inaugural Carolyn Adams Ticket for the Cure Instant Ticket, which I helped create back in 2013 to dedicate a ticket to the former Illinois Lottery director who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2007. . This ticket provides 100% of its proceeds to fight breast cancer in Illinois by providing education, awareness, research, and support programs in Illinois.

Diagnosis of this disease in Illinois has increased over time. Mammograms can help detect breast cancer early, allowing for more effective treatment.
