This month, the Illinois Lottery is launching its inaugural Carolyn Adams Ticket for the Cure Instant Ticket, which I helped create back in 2013 to dedicate a ticket to the former Illinois Lottery director who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2007. . This ticket provides 100% of its proceeds to fight breast cancer in Illinois by providing education, awareness, research, and support programs in Illinois.
Diagnosis of this disease in Illinois has increased over time. Mammograms can help detect breast cancer early, allowing for more effective treatment. Join us as we raise awareness for this ticket and the funds it can generate to help support those affected by breast cancer in our state. We hope you will consider purchasing this ticket and encouraging others to do the same.
The Carolyn Adams Ticket for the Cure instant ticket costs $3, and players can win up to $50,000. The ticket is on sale now at more than 7,200 Illinois Lottery retailers across Illinois, and 100% of proceeds fund education, support, awareness, and research programs aimed at tackling breast cancer.
