CMS is partnering with legislators and businesses to provide resources for small businesses at local workshops around the state.
The Make a Connection: “Connecting Communities to Illinois Business Opportunities” workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the Malcolm X College, 1900 W. Van Buren St., Cultural Center. The Business Enterprise Program, Bureau of Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Payment Program, Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and Procurement Technical Assistance Centers will give presentations.
To prepare for the influx of concealed-carry applications, the Illinois Senate Democrats updated their caucus website with answers to frequently asked questions.
